richard cameron’s
can’t stand up for falling down
Lynette, Ruby and Jodie, three young women from Doncaster, tell their stories of one summer, eight years ago. The post-industrial landscape of canals, woodland and disused quarries, in which these women manage to survive, disguises an uneasy world of aggression and domestic violence which blasts its way through their lives with devastating effects.
